Two Pakistani soldiers killed in cross border firing : Army

Army on Tuesday claimed to have killed two Pakistani soldiers in Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district in “retaliatory action”.

Srinagar based Army spokesman colonel Rajesh Kalia said that the army carried out calibrated operations last night against what he termed as unprovoked ceasefire violations by Pakistani army, “Two Pakistani troopers were killed in retaliatory action,” he said.

On Monday, a soldier of 20 Jat was killed in sniper attack by Pakistan along the LoC in Tanghdar.
