Omar Abdullah condemns attack on Parra, says violence not way to address differences

National conference leader Omar Abdullah on Tuesday condemned the attack on PDP youth leader Waheed Parra saying threats and violence are not way to address differences or to change opinions.

Omar Abdullah took to his Twitter handle in condemning the attack, “Strongly condemn the attack on PDP leader @parawahid. Threats & violence are not to way to address differences or to change opinions,” he wrote.

Parra was attacked by unknown gunmen on Monday evening in central Kashmir’s Budgam district while returning from a condolence meeting.

He told The Kashmir Walla that two shots were fired at his vehicle.
