Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Tuesday said that India and Pakistan must resolve Kashmir issue to move forward in order to uplift the people of subcontinent.
In a series of Tweets the newly elected Pakistan Prime minister said that the two nuclear nations need to initiate dialogue to resolve their conflicts, “To move forward Pakistan and India must dialogue and resolve their conflicts incl Kashmir: The best way to alleviate poverty and uplift the people of the subcontinent is to resolve our differences through dialogue and start trading,” Khan wrote.
Khan also came in to rescue of Navjot Singh Sidhu who has been in the middle of a controversy following him hugging the army chief of Pakistan,“I want to thank Sidhu for coming to Pakistan for my oath taking. He was an ambassador of peace & was given amazing love & affection by ppl of Pakistan. Those in India who targeted him are doing a gt disservice to peace in the subcontinent – without peace our ppl cannot progress,” Khan tweeted.
