DySp’s nephew abducted in Shopian as toll reaches 11

Suspected militants  late last night abducted nephew of Deputy Superintendent of Police from his home in Thairun Trenz village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

As per reports a group of masked gunmen barged inside the house of Mohammad Ashraf Shah and abducted his son Adnan Ahmad Shah.

Adnan is a nephew of Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohammad Syed Shah who is currently at PHQ Srinagar.

Meanwhile, forces have launched a search operation to trace the abducted youth.

Earlier, several such cases have been reported from south Kashmir, as many as 11 people have been abducted by suspected militants.
