Continuing his slamming of the People’s Democratic Party, Imran Ansari, party’s prominent leader today said that split of the PDP has nothing to do with the political system.
The statement came in response to senior party leader, Naeem Akhtar, who had earlier said, “These are unusual times not just for PDP but for political system.”
“These are unusual times not just for pdp but for political system” says @shangpal Naeem Akhtar. Wonder what it means. If PDP is splitting, whats that got to do with the system? This is exactly how he obfuscates issues and confuses all matters by sounding grand & philosophical.

Akhtar was referring to the apprehensions that the PDP is splitting into two with many leaders, prominently Ansari, openly criticizing the policies of the party president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Ansari had also called Akhtar “new definition of irony” for not being elected and still being eager for fresh elections.
New definition of irony: when @shangpal Naeem Akhtar a nominated legislator, who has never contested elections, announces PDPs eagerness for fresh polls in the state! That sums up the sublime and the ridiculous in @jkpdp today.

For over a week, the perception in the political arena of Jammu and Kashmir is that the PDP is splitting into two groups, with the new breakaway faction likely to join the BJP to form a new government.
