“Dissolve state assembly,” says Omar Abdullah

Former CM Omar Abdullah asked for fresh election in the state.

National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah today called for the immediate dissolution of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and holding of fresh elections in the state.

Taking to Twitter, NC leader said that the Jammu and Kashmir assembly should be dissolved immediately and asked for the fresh election as soon as appropriate.

Abdullah reacting to the BJP leader and former deputy chief minister (DCM) Kavinder Gupta’s statement that his party was “working on something”, slammed BJP on Twitter for alleged horsetrading.

Abdullah claimed that Gupta’s statement hinted at the BJP’s attempts to break other parties to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir.
