A day after militants decamped with three rifles from a police guarding post at a hotel in Srinagar, opposition National Conference leader Omar Abdullah asked the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti “to stop looking at New Delhi and Islamabad to bail her out and start acknowledging the failings of her administration.”
Looted from the police at Dalgate, the heart of Srinagar’s up town & at the centre of our area of tourist accommodation. At some point the CM needs to stop looking at New Delhi & Islamabad to bail her out & start acknowledging the failings of her administration. https://t.co/27v31oJkFZ

The incident happened a day after government announced ceasefire during Ramzan.
It is a second such incident, as earlier a rifle was snatched by suspected militants outside Kashmir University at Hazratbal.
