The Peoples Democratic Party of Jammu and Kashmir has expressed grief over the killing of a teenager by paramilitary forces in Budgam district.

“Bullets are no answer to stones and it is high time for the forces to follow the standard operating procedure (SOP). Forces need to get sensitised as non-compliance of SOP brings instability in the peace process.” said Rafi Mir,¬†PDP general secretary, in a statement.

The party has expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. “The PDP stands with the people in distress and justice shall prevail,” he added.
