In pictures: Curfew, restrictions continue in Kashmir

The curfew imposed by the government in Srinagar continued for the second day on Friday. The step was taken after a Fidayeen attack in summer capital Srinagar in which five paramilitary forces’ men and the two militants were killed. Later, in the afternoon a civilian Altaf Ahmed Wani was killed when paramilitary forces opened fire, on way to a hospital. In other districts of Kashmir region strict restrictions were imposed. For last one month, the Valley has remained under shutdowns, restrictions, arrests and mass protests since parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guru was hanged and buried in Tihar jail Delhi on Feb. 9, 2013.
