The Palestinian Football Association is asking the world football governing body, FIFA, to suspend Israel from world football for violating rules relating to racism. A member of FIFA since 1998, Palestine has complained that Israel restricts the movement of its players and opposes the participation of clubs originating from Jewish areas of the West Bank. Hundreds of students today participated in ‘Nakba Day’ solidarity sit-in near Kashmir University mosque on Friday. Immediately after the Friday prayers students assembled near KU masjid. Thousands of people marched through London’s West End yesterday in protest against Israeli action against Palestinians living in Gaza. A youth was shot dead in Kashmir in when government forces opened fire on protesters during anti-Israel protests today. Suhail Ahmad Lone, son of Gulam Qadir Lone was killed in Khodwani area of in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district when government forces opened fire at anti-Israel protesters.
