Linking high-end tourism with top class education, Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today promised to develop Pahalgam valley as a leisure-cum-education centre on the pattern of Dalhousie, in Himachal Pradesh. Salman Khan at Ashmuqam, Pahalgam shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’ Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly turned down a request from officials to promote Jammu & Kashmir tourism. Khan, who is currently at tourist destination Pahalgam in Kashmir to shoot for his upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was approached by a delegation of leaders of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to promote tourism. However, the actor turned down the approach saying that he won’t take any project till his final verdict for hit and run case is out on May 6, India Today reported.

Every year hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from across India visit to the Amarnath Cave Shrine, to pay homage to the Hindu god, Lord Shiva, situated in the Kashmir valley at 1400 feet above sea level.
