By Mudasir Yaqoob | Srinagar In a move that took people by surprise, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) of India on Thursday removed one of its oldest bunkers at Eidgah Srinagar. However, CRPF vehicles couldn’t ferry the materials and belongings till late in the evening from area due to heavy stone pelting in adjacent localities. After a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and Army, on December 28, started an encounter in the Bubgam village of Pulwama district (in Kashmir) and claimed killing of the two local militants of the Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit, they opened indiscriminate firing on the protesters too, as per the locals, which resulted in injuring at least 15 civilians badly.
