Irish voters on Friday go to vote on the world’s first constitutional referendum on legalizing same-sex marriage. In a bid to foil after Friday prayer protests in Kashmir, police raided the houses of Masarat Alam led Muslim League (ML) activists and detained scores of them while some workers managed to give a slip to police. Hurriyat G leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani had urged people to protest peacefully on Friday after prayers across Kashmir Valley against the invoking of Public Safety Act on Muslim League chairman Masarat Alam.
