In a second incident of its kind in less than for days, unidentified gunmen on Friday killed a civilian in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. A police official told Global News Service (GNS) that unknown gunmen at around 9:00 pm opened fire from point blank range at the activist, Khursheed Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat of Bomai outside his residence. At least 1800 sites of different telecommunication companies are non-functional all across Kashmir resulting in communication breakdown.
