Complete shutdown in Kashmir Valley on 17 June 2015. A complete shutdown was observed on Wednesday against the mysterious civilian killings in Sopore town of North Kashmir. Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, has taken a serious view of the killings of the civilians in Sopore and issued directions to the Home Department for stepping up investigations and providing secure environment to all civilians. Militant outfit Lashkar-e- Toiba (LeT) on Monday while condemning the killing spree in Sopore said that the agencies behind such acts must abort their activities or face action.
