Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) has stated that within a week the party will come up with the list of candidates to be fielded in the Assembly polls 2014. AIP General Secretary Nazir Ahmad Malik stated that working committee meet would be soon convened in this regard and the list of party candidates would be made public.
“This is our electoral debut in the Assembly Elections as party and we hope to perform exceedingly well with the support of people. Honest, credible and popular personalities would be fielded as party candidates keeping in view the sentiments and urge for better representatives among the people of Kashmir,” stated Nazir Ahmad Malik, General Secretary AIP. According to a statement issued to KNS, Nazir Ahmad Malik hoped that people will overwhelmingly vote in favour of AIP candidates wherever they are fielded keeping in view the clean and passionate track record of Awami Ittihaad Party in highlighting the problems of masses.
“AIP President Engineer Rashid has aptly shown what active and vibrant constituency representation means by transforming Langate Constituency into a development and progressive areas as MLA. AIP as party since inception has also been at forefront in championing the genuine causes of browbeaten people and we are hopeful that this positive trackrecord of ours would translate into impressive number of votes in favour of AIP in upcoming Assembly Elections,” observed Nazir Ahmad Malik.
